We’re looking for experienced storyboard artists to join our team for a brand new 2D animated series, Tundra Friends


The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to adapt scripts into engaging visuals, with an eye for clarity, character personality and composition. Planning storyboards with the animation process in mind (ie. character posing, layout, scene transitions, what is possible to animate within a given time frame and budget) is a strong asset. The storyboard artist will submit boards for review weekly, and will communicate with the Design Supervisor to make necessary revisions.

Due to COVID-19 this will be a remote work-from-home position. A small Internet stipend will also be provided.



Software Knowledge Required:

Toon Boom Storyboard Pro

Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro a strong asset


Required skills:

  • Professional experience with storyboarding for a 2D production 
  • Able to adhere to production style and tone
  • Some animation experience, or ability to think in “animator friendly” terms when storyboarding
  • Strong communication skills in discussing storyboard requirements, deadlines and quota with Design Supervisor 
  • Able to work independently, and in a team environment
  • Able to take direction from supervisors
  • Able to meet deadlines
