Job Opportunity: Animatic Editor

We’re looking for an animatic editor to join our team for a brand new 2D animated series, Tundra Friends!
This role will be a combination of animatic editing and scene set up for a 2D Toon Boom Harmony animation production. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling storyboards into an animatic form using Adobe Premiere Pro, and for compiling all layouts, props, character rigs and audio files into animation ready files using Toon Boom Harmony. The ideal candidate should have experience in the animation industry, ideally in scene set up, animatic or video editing, and/or storyboarding. Some training will be provided.
Please note that we will only be contacting applicants who are residents of the province of Ontario.
Due to COVID-19 this will be a remote work-from-home position. A small Internet stipend will also be provided.
Software Knowledge Required:
Toon Boom Harmony
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Premiere Pro
Required skills:
- Professional experience in animation production, ideally storyboarding, scene set up or animatic/video editing
- Strong communication skills in discussing requirements, deadlines and quota with Design Supervisor
- Able to work independently, and in a team environment
- Able to take direction from supervisors
- Able to meet deadlines
